This picture was taken at Photo Band Bang Studio in Las Vegas NV USA The studio has many sets but mostly Victorian Steambook, bondage(which I am not into) Really great Owner.Time

The model Trish is great at taking a vague notion like be pensive and then just falls into stuff. Usually it feels almost candid . Which is what I am looking for. I feel all photographs are collaborative. Hire I professional models because they understand this. I prefer models that don't need much direction and I am happy to let them come up with their own ideas.Editing
I do quite a bit of post processing but mostly things like conversion to black and white, getting the variation which most suits what I want to convey. Do sharping, or softening, mess with shadows and highlights. Sometime I do a lot sometimes like here I don't do much.In my camera bag
Canon 70D . four lenses. a small tripod batteries and charger. spare sd cards. paper and pencil. tissues and lens paper. small dust blower. A not from my wife that say "Good shooting"Feedback
Be patient . I shot film for years. I think remembering how it felt to shoot for an hour get 12 negatives so that they would be cost effective. I shoot digital the same way. And like all the best photographs say, "Great it right in camera" post will be so much easier. Enjoy yourself or don't do it
