Thank you H! This is a rather unique street in Oxford, called Merton Street, which has changed names over the centuries. One of the things that draw people's attention is the cobbled road, both visually and audicly. Not only is it fun to walk on, especially ladies wearing high heels, but the rumbling of the car tyres as they roll on it.

Well composed shot Mick, and the color tone adds to the mood... I'm lovin' it!!

Thank you Daisy... there was no extra saturation added in RAW processing. The cobbled raod has a mixture of silver and reddish colour which makes it look unique. I was standing in Merton Street for the best part of two hours, towards the end of the session. Right at the end is the exit from the Christchurch College premises, which was open free for the day. There were so many tourists coming out, I had to wait for the ungainly crowds to disperse and get some humanless shots.

Amazing! Love seeing the cobbled stone streets! I can image a horse drawn carriage going down the street! Wonderful shot!

Thanks Brian! The medieval architecture in Oxford blends seamlessly with the rest of the modern-day complexes, buildings, houses, etc... It is remarkable how they do it. Great place to visit, in case you ever wander this way.
