my parents and a few aunts and uncles survived this hellhole. my grandparents and most of my aunts and uncles were murdered there. that humans have this in their soul to do this to others is heartwrenchingly sad

Indeed, the story must continue to be told. Just this week a synagogue on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain by New Orleans had anti-Semetic words sprayed on the building. In the deep south, we have few Jews. Was shocked that this would happen so near in in my area. Nowhere is exempt, sadly.
