joshua tree national park is an amazing place, i wanted to get a photo of myself enjoying the view. this is a 30-second exposure, which showed the movement of the clouds. i set my shutter on a 10-second timer, then had to run full speed and climb up the rock to get into place. it took several attempts to get a shot that wasn't blurry. after all, the running was making me out of breath!
