Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in the island of Pico in the archipelago of the Azores. They have beautiful pastures as most of the people graze cows to make dairy products (especially cheese) to eat and sell.

Time

It was a little before noon.

Lighting

It was a beautiful day with a blue sky and an awesome view!

Equipment

I used a PENTAX Optio M30 digital camera and the natural sunlight.

Inspiration

I was just shooting at anything that caught my eye and thought it would look nice in my album of sightseeing.

Editing

There was no post processing except maybe for some cropping to take foreign objects out of the picture.

In my camera bag

I just have a camera or a cell phone. Nothing really spectacular. When you have natural light and a good subject, it always comes out good. The best photos are the ones you don't fix or spend too much effort on.

Feedback

You either have to do the same thing which is sit in the backseat of a car or you have to take two images and put them into one. Secret: If you stare at it long enough, it looks like the car is actually moving down the road. :)
