The Bradford Pear was almost in full bloom this spring. It never reached full bloom as we had hard freezes that killed some flowers as well as strong winds that blew off the flowers. Bradford Pear trees can be very pretty but they smell horrible. I had 2 in my front yard, my neighbor had 2 also but in the summer of 2010 we had a tornado come through & all that was left were my Crepe Myrtles & one of their Bradford Pears. Picture 3 or 4.
