Looking to the North
I have not shot many star trails recently so last night my friend and I decided to head north and see what we could capture. We shot the Milky Way for a little bit before setting up our cameras for some star trails. Once the remotes were set we sat back, sipped on coffee and watch the stars. Every not and then we would see some meteors, a little glow from the aurora and see the fog rolling through the bog. On the drive to and from the night photo location we drove slowly to keep an eye out for wildlife and we spotted red fox, Black bear and possibly a eastern “Algonquin” wolf.
Sony a7s (full spectrum modified) - Optolong E-EF adapter + Optolong UV-IR cut filter - Rokinon 14mm f2.8 - ISO 3200 - 30 seconds x150
