On Rannoch Moor there used to be an old tree that featured in many photographs. The Autumn before our Summer holiday of 2012 it fell down in a blizzard. This year we went off to the New Forest. At Clayhill there was a similar tree to the one at Rannoch Moor. Fortunately it did not fell down this time. I spent many a morning capturing it...morningmist

Normally this species is raher restless. This one was willing to pose though.

In New Forest National Park ponies roam free. As they are used to people you can come rather close when taking pictures.

It was a real challenge to photograph these poppies, as the wind was blowing fast.
