Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was taken at Lake Louise in November when my dad and I went up there to visit.Time
I believe it was around the afternoon that this picture was taken. I remember buying a coffee, and it going cold outside because I was too busy taking photos of the landscape.Lighting
I thought the lighting was terrific, it made the lake and the mountains seem even more bold and mysterious.Equipment
My only equipment was my Canon.Inspiration
It is such an iconic shot of Lake Louise, I couldn't resist, the lighting and everything. I had to.Editing
I believe I used an editing app, like Snapsneed or possibly photoshop to increase the contrast and bits of blue to increase the intensity. In my camera bag
When I do remember to bring my bag, it is my canon camera, a regular lens, with a polarizing lens on it to help balance the colours (great for indoor photos), and a macro lens, as well as a small tripod.Feedback
Remember to use the rule of thirds and keep it level, I suppose. And always check the photo afterwards immediately to see if the exposure and shutter speed is correct!
