Oh My! This image is absolutely stunning. Superb composition, lighting, detail, shadows, colors, and story telling. It has it all. I can see this on the cover of a great love story book. Magnificent capture!

Location
This image was taken in Parque de la Reserva (Park of the Reserve) in Lima, Peru. The park is famous for its colored fountains which is marketed as a "Magic Water Tour". Very popular with children and young couples.Time
The time was around 7pm.Lighting
No lighting equipment was used in this shot as the main source of illumination is a spectacular colored fountains. The lighting within the fountain was bright enough to show all the water vapor thrown off by the fountain which nicely silhouettes the young couple in the foreground.Equipment
Camera used was an Olympus EM-1 with 12-40mm pro lens. This was paired with a manfrotto tripod.Inspiration
I was walking behind a young couple who looked so peaceful and still that it was the perfect opportunity for a nice romantic shot with a long exposure.Editing
A lot of vignetting was added to this photo with a few spot removals. The contrast was also slightly boosted to make the couple on the bench pop out of the photo. In my camera bag

Shooting in public can be difficult. To maintain the authenticity of this particular shot I had to keep the couple unaware of what I was doing. After the shot I approached the couple with the photo which they loved and demanded a copy. Whilst I do not speak fluent Spanish, I've always found that people respond positively to seeing a nice candid photo of themselves.
