About five years ago residents of the Pennsylvania Mountains were in for a treat as about 400 Snowy Owls came to visit. Not sure oif they were here for the skiing , or just lost: boy were they glorious. Owls being my favorites--they have more power than they Turkey Vultures, less Arrogance than the Eagles and are certainly less of a nuisance than bats--this was the chance of a lifetime.
