Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in Barcarena, Lisbon, Portugal

Time

This is definitely one of my favorite images. This shot was taken on the photo event with many photographers. I just saw the opportunity to take that exact moment and the directions that another photographer was given, that’s how I got the man hand in the shot. Just right in time! The hole event was during the evening, around 16:00 PM.

Lighting

I just used the natural light. As the model was inside the leaves, she was in shadows and I couldn't take the perfect shot and good light.

Equipment

This was shot only on a Canon 6D, with 24-105mm f/4 lens, with no other equipment.

Inspiration

This shot was actually made instinctively. I just saw the right moment. I'm really a fan of a fine art photography. Maybe that style of photography influenced me to take this kind of shot, which I'm proud of and happy to be noticed by so many people.

Editing

Yes, for this one I used the Lightroom and my post-processing included the basic improvement like contrast, exposure, etc., color correction and the shadows/lights.

In my camera bag

I normally use my Canon 6D with 24-105mm f/4 lens everywhere. Many lenses are in plans to be purchased

Feedback

All the details are matter! On this shot, the model got the light rain. That's why her hairstyle is a little bit undone, but it added the detail and mystery to the photo.
