I shot this photo near Lleida (Spain). There is an ideal landscape for these little owls.Time
This is definitely one of my favorite pictures from this session. Iam very happy to photograph this "Angry bird". Most photographers now what I mean. You shot 100 photos, maybe all in very good quality but sometimes you have a special moment. It´s a micro second and this is luck! Every nature photographer needs luck to shot something special. I sit in the hide during the summer 2018 an it was very hot. I started the session at 17h (5pm) and insifde the hide it was round about 37° Celsius (98 °F ) and inside the hide it was round about 60° Celsius (140 °F). It was very hard and I've been sweating all over. But it was worth it!!! Iam in Love with this cute animals!!!!Lighting
At this evening there was a very warm light and I was very happy about this, so I can set the real focus on the birds.Equipment
I used my Canon 1D-X with my Canon EF 600mm f/4L IS II USM. Tripod: Rollei T-64C with Benro GH2 Gimbal HeadInspiration

In this shot I did no much post processing. What I d on every pics is color correction.In my camera bag
It´s very different. If I shot landscapes, I user other equipment as for people or some animals. Always in my bag is the Canon 1D-X and the 5D MKIIIFeedback
