it out towards Tioga Road on Wednesday. After thinking I might be rained out on my way to my destination, the skies seemed to settle just as I was pulling up to the trailhead. Pup and I packed up and made our way up the trail under threatening skies.
What I saw as we rounded the corner made my jaw drop. It immediately became clear that this would be one of my favorite spots. Carpets of wildflowers, spires of granite and crystal clear lakes scattered out in front of me.
My backyard never ceases to amaze me.
