Shot as part of my work on Photographing Lefkada, a digital guidebook for photographers visiting the Ionian island of Lefkada, located just off mainland Greece.

Kathisma beach is one of the most beautiful of many white sand beaches that punctuate the west coast of the island, where limestone rocks meet the turquoise blue water. This naturally formed 'doorway' lies at one end of the large stretch of sand, and makes for a great photography subject. What better frame to capture the essence of summer?
