I.m always cautious about suggesting changes to other people's images although i am always on the lookout for things in my own pics. Lara has specifically asked me to do other than say 'nice' so I looked and felt that the green plants at the bottom were not needed, that they distracted from the feeling of the rest from a compositional point of view. Photography by its nature provides us with 'reality' but the core of image making is the transformation into a separate 'thing' called a picture with its own concerns of visual language for communication to others.If this visual idea were being expressed in .say, a poem and one part seemed excessive, distracting and off topic then we would notice .and wish to adjust it either by editing it out or by adjusting it so that it related to and added to the theme, the overall subject. Same here. :)

Gosto muiton desta pela elegância simples da composição. Quanto ao comentário do Bill, apesar de comncordar com o conceito nele expresso de que as fotografias devem ater-se ao essencial e evitar pontos de distracção visual, não acho que isso esteja a acontecer nesta. As plantas da base na minha opinião não distraem a visão de conjunto e dão harmonia á composição que de ourro modo , ficaria demasiado esquálida e despida.
Mas isto só prova que cada um tem o seu sentido estétici e que o olhar é estritamente pessoal

Love this simply elegant style here, Lara, the flowers are shooting into the sky with a crescendo and the grass sounds like a small clash of cymbals (that is just my version of what I see / feel here) ... great shot1 ;)
