Location
This was taken on the Velebit Mountain in Croatia. The place itself is called Panos, and until the last war there was a small barracks of the former JNA army and an artillery position to monitor and defend the Adriatic coast and the sea.Time
It was 19:20 at sundown.Lighting
Lighting was natural.Equipment
Olympus E-520 camera and Digital zoom Olympus Zuiko f:2,8-4, 12-60 mm (24-120 mm in 35 mm) at f:14 was used on a tripod.Inspiration
The beautiful environment and the beautiful light at sunset were enough to get inspired.Editing
Shadow / Highlights, some contrast and a bit of sharpening was used in Photo Shop.In my camera bag
It depends on whether I'm on foot or in the car. I like to go with as little gear as possible when hiking. Most often I carry E-3 and E-520 Olympus cameras and two lenses, the Olympus Digital Zuiko Zoom 12-60 and 50-200, so I don't have to change lenses.Feedback
Everything is the influence of time and place. If you are lucky that both the location and the lighting are interesting, you will take a nice picture.
