King of planets

Night fell at Thousand Island Lake. The windy never stopped, if not gaining strength. And I was terribly worried that the wind may blow away my cameras on the tripods. Meanwhile, the gusty gale meant that capturing reflections of Mt. Ritter was completely out of the question. So, I decided to focus on other elements, such as the rock in the foreground, the rocks and the pines in the middle ground as well as Mt. Ritter and the Milky Way in the background. Jupiter, named by the Romans and also called Zeus by the ancient Greeks, ascended high as if it wanted everyone awake to know that it was the king of the planets (largest planet in our solar system). Soon, a band of light, aka the Milky Way by the ancient Greeks, slowly rose from the southeast sky.
