Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a Studio where I teach photography to students and implement my own projects.

Time

This photo, like most of the photos I shoot in the Studio, was taken during the daytime.

Lighting

I used Studio pulsed light. To get this photo, I used two light sources: the drawing light and the background light. The drawing source allowed you to draw a mannequin model, and the background source allowed you to create a silhouette of an invisible human figure's hand.

Equipment

Canon EOS 60D camera, Canon Lens EF 17-40 F 4, tripod and pulsed light Falcon Eye

Inspiration

I am often inspired in my work by the form in its various manifestations. Here I was also captured by the shape of an unusual hat and the silhouettes of hands. And of course the work of Michelangelo Buanarotti.

Editing

The photo was cropped, converted to black and white, and slightly retouched. This is the end of all processing.

In my camera bag

At the moment I have two cameras Canon EOS 60D and Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, 4 lenses Canon Lens EF 17-40 F 4; Canon Lens EF 70-200 F 4; Canon Lens EF 85 F 1,8; Canon Lens EF 50 F 1,4

Feedback

The main advice that I try to follow myself and advise others is to look for yourself in photography and in art. Don't imitate others, but find your own way.
