Behind The Lens

Location

This one was made right off the terrace, within the usual vista I enjoy every single day - and every day it's different. Can't really be any more comfy than that!

Time

Date/Time of the original is 19-Jun-18 16:44:33

Lighting

Shutter Speed: 1/160 sec, F-Number: f/5.6, ISO 100, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00 eV, Metering Mode: Center weighted average, Flash Off, Did not fire, Focal Length: 71.7 mm, White Balance Details: Auto1

Equipment

NIKON Model COOLPIX P610, out of hand, off the terrace... Sometimes good views simply come to you, y'know... :)

Inspiration

All the inspiration is right there, in the photo... except the dramatic sound of the wind! But I guess you'll be able to imagine it!

Editing

No, the photo is very much like it came out of the camera.

In my camera bag

To me it is easier to carry a photo vest than any photo bag. So I load my photo vest with whatever I might need for my photo session, walk or trip. My photo bags usually keep the equipment I'm not using at the moment. The vest's many pockets usually contain two cameras, spare batteries, ND and CPL filters, and one small photo clamp instead of a tripod. Sometimes I'll include a small action camera, mainly for its wide field of view and resistance to water and weather. The vest has large-lens pockets that holds a small water bottle, a sandwich, or a bar of chocolate if I plan on being out for the whole day. There is about three meters length of paracord or similar strong, thin rope, one hefty pocket knife, and a lighter. With these, much can be "mcgyvered" along the way, so that's all I need. Recently I make it even more comfortable for me, and take the essentials along in a waist pouch. Simplicity and comfort; two best ingredients in most situations!

Feedback

Sometimes you go search for the photo themes, and sometimes you're just there... all it takes is a camera close to you! Thus, ALWAYS have a camera at hand. The good themes have a way of just happening! So enjoy!
