It’s a studio shot of one of my favourite models.I’m based in South East England, near Gatwick airport.Time
Early afternoon. My make up artist had just finished the 2nd look of the day and I just had to get an ultra close up of the ladies beautiful eye!Lighting
Not really, single large soft box close to and directly in front of the model to reduce reflection . . .Equipment
Tripod, canon 5d mkIV, can’t remember the lens, but didn’t bother with macro, the first go came out so well . . .Inspiration

Always, every image can be improved. After all, it depends if your going for realism or art. In this case art so I touched it up quit a lot as well as dropped out the rest of the face.In my camera bag
Varies with the shoot, but always Canon 5d my IV, MY 2nd camera a mk III and of course a selection of lenses.Feedback
Take your time, the subject is stationary so never accept “it’ll do” take the time to get to right, or at least, right in your opinion. All photography is subjective so shoot for yourself and hope others like it.
