An incredibly striking image !
It is almost impossible to ignore this strangely beautiful, yet unnerving and story telling image.
Its high contrast, immediate throws viewer into the opening scene of a story they were not prepared for.
It evokes a momentary sense of panic and disorientation as they try to calm their fight or flight responses, while gauging their new surroundings. Balance slightly restored, they are drawn to the solitary building, as it is the sole source of shelter in this bleak environment, yet they are extremely cautious in their approach, still unsure if the greater danger lay behind them, or behind the door that lies before.

Looks like one of those old scratch pictures one used to buy, black background and different pens to reveal white underneath, pretty damm cool!
