The Rho Ophiuchi cloud complex is a dark nebula of gas and dust that is located 1° south of the star ρ Ophiuchi of the constellation Ophiuchus. At an estimated distance of 131 ± 3 parsecs, this cloud is one of the closest star-forming regions to the Solar System.

This year is about 4 hours of total exposure time with a 200mm Canon L USM 2.8@4.5 in a Canon 600D full spectrum mod on a StarAdventurer skywatcher 80x1 min @1600ISO ~ taken from Porto Pollo, Serra di Ferro, this last summer, and in Pinarello (porto vecchio) in Maj 2017 , both in South Corse
