Location
This photo was taken in my studio at Velsen-Noord, The Netherlands It was one of the first times I photographed this model, and she was a natural with posing in front of the camera.Time
It was shot somewhere in the afternoon. But since I use flashlight mostly, this does not really matter for this photo.Lighting
I used a Godox AD600B flash with a 120cm Octabox from the top left to light up the model. On the right side a used a reflector to brighten up the shadows.Equipment

I'm a big fan of Rembrandt lighting and the paintings from the old masters. My inspiration is also based on the work from Chris Knight.Editing
In post-processing I did some retouche on the skin and normally I use dodge and burn often on my photo's. Most of the post-processing I do with Adobe Camera Raw. There are a lot of options in this piece of software which I think are probably underestimated by most people.In my camera bag

If you invest some time to look at Rembrandt paintings or follow a photographer like Chris Knight. You should be able to create pictures like this. I like to try out new things by experimenting with different lighting setups. You can learn so much by doing this yourself. Also YouTube is a good help to get better at flash photography. Good Luck!
