A long exposure of a sunrise at Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island, Georgia. This place is a photographer’s dream with its eastward facing shoreline and epic sunrises every morning that it’s not raining. Even clear sky sunrises are amazing to watch at this beach! (Oh. It’s a secret, but it’s also dark enough to shoot the Milky Way here under the right conditions. I will go back for that.) This photo was shot on a Pentax K-70, HD Pentax 21mm f-3.2 Limited, a Zomei carbon fiber tripod, and a Breakthrough X4 10-stop ND filter. Edited to taste in Adobe Camera RAW, Adobe Photoshop CC 2018, and Viveza 2.
