A beautiful Malabar Torrent Toad, local name Disco Light Toad.
This toad is typically found in western ghats of India, Coorg. Its colouration and patterns around body make this toad very colourful. Hence the name disco light toad. The belly and bottom part of the frog has yellow and red colours, some colourful parts are visible in this image. Mostly black in colour, its difficult to find this species in the night until there is a call or movement. Lives near waterfalls, small ponds, and rocks. This species is also nearly endangered due to the coffee plantation work.
