Location
I took this photo on the Maasai Mara in Kenya.
Time
This was still early morning on the Maasai Mara, so this male lion and two of his friends were still awake and out in the open.
Lighting
This morning was a bit cloudy and it was still early in the morning, so the sun hadn't really broken through the clouds yet.
Equipment
This photo was shot with Nikon D500 and Nikon 200-400mm f4.
Inspiration
At moments like these I just tend to wait and try to capture the animal from the best possible angle.
Editing
I process all my photos the same way; basic processing in Lightroom.

Nikon D500 and D750, Nikon 200-400mm f4 and 70-200mm f4, Fujifilm X100F and iPhone.
