Rhett here is one of the pair of flamingos in the Key West Butterfly Conservatory. Yes, the butterflies have 2 pet flamingos: Rhett and Scarlet. Depending on how old you are, you'll understand the names. If not, look it up because if you're that young you probably have a phone glued to your hand.

See those little teeth in Rhett's mouth? Those are like a little seine he uses to capture all those tee-ninesy little shrimp as he rakes that big ole beak back and forth in the shallow water. Water and shrimp go in, water goes out, leaving shrimp cocktail in Rhett's mouth with every pass.

Flamingos or flamingoes are a type of wading bird in the family Phoenicopteridae, the only bird family in the order Phoenicopteriformes.
