Behind The Lens

Location
I took this shot in Wanaka. A little town in the south of New Zealand. There where quite a lot of people taking photos of that tree.
Time
It was in the afternoon.
Lighting
The light was alomost ideal. No harsh sunlight and some clouds in the sky.
Equipment
My old canon 700D and the 18-135 mm lens with a 10stop ND Filter all mounted on a tripod.
Inspiration
This photo was on my bucketlist when i descided to make the trip to NZ. Its quite iconic and i bet almost every landscape photographer knows where this shot was taken.
Editing
The basic post processing as lens correction sharpening and tweeking the colours to tile and orange. To give it a interresting colour punch. I also made a black&white version so it looks more dramatic - which is also in my portfolio.
In my camera bag
It´s still my old canon 700D with a a of lenses ohne tue 18-135mm; a 10-18mm; the 50mm f1.8 and i also have a sigma 105mm 2.8 Macro lens. Also several batteries; memory cards; a Flash and a raincoat.
Feedback
No matter how many photos where taken by others. Try to be inspired by their work but then try to get your own shot with your own style. Go out-shoot-repeat.
