I created this macro image of some Purple Thistle flowers back in 2015 at the Circle B Bar Reserve simply because I thought that they were beautiful. The pale purple shading to white colors make a nice contrast to the darker green of their stems in this nature photograph. I find that May of any year is a great time of year to be outdoors enjoying nature and creating nature pictures.
