This gator was slinking on top of the water. He caught my eye because of his eyes... Specifically, the color. His green eyes. They reminded me of jewelry I had when I was young. Then I realized that, with the way the low-level light was shining on him, his body looked like a sterling silver display. So, I guess, at least on this night, he was the Jewel of the Little Manatee River...
