Location
This shot was taken at the Ardastra Gardens in Nassau, Bahamas. It is the only zoo in the Bahamas. It is also the only place that has a trained Flamingos.Time
This shot was taken right in the middle of the day. Luckily there was a good bit of cover over head with the trees and clouds that were in the area.Lighting
Nothing great about the lighting just had to take in account the direct light coming from overhead.Equipment
This was shot on the Canon Rebel T3i. With the s55-250mm f/4.5-5.6 lens. It was hand held. Shot without a flash.Inspiration
This shot was taken while out on a excursion on a cruise that I took back in 2012. It is true always have your camera with you because you never know when an opportunity to take a picture will present itself.Editing
Surprisingly, very little post processing went into this picture. I always shoot in RAW, so I did bring out the clarity and color a little but over all that is all that went into post processing. In my camera bag
I carry my Canon T3i with the 24-105mm L series lens attached to it. My 430 EXii flash. The 18-55mm lens. The s55-250mm lens. I always carry extra charged batteries, and some way to care for the camera if I were to get some debris on it.Feedback
Always have a camera with you. It dosen't matter if it is just your phone. You will always be upset for the missed opportunity to get the picture.
