Location
Photo was taken at Berrinba Wetlands, about 15 mins driver from my home. It’s a reclaimed man-made lagoon which use to be a sand mining business. Where I go quiet often for a walk.Time
The time was around 3:00 PM, The afternoon Sun was just setting below the tree line creating a nice soft glow on the flower.Lighting
The sun was just setting below the trees and had a nice soft glow through the tree line. This made the water appear darker as the flower was bathed in the golden glow of the setting sun.Equipment
This was taken with OLYMPUS E-M5MarkII, 75-300 mm telephoto lens, Aperture: f/6.5 ISO: 320 Shutter Speed: 1/320 Focal Length: 252/1Inspiration
I was at the location early in the morning taking photos of birds, when I noticed the Lillie. I took some photos but due to the morning sun the end result felt a little harsh. I decided to go back to the location late afternoon, with a setting sun to achieve a softer result.Editing
The only processing was to crop and enlarge the photo. After this I Adjusted Sharpening, Noise, and contrast / exposure. In my camera bag
Olympus em5 MKII M.Zuiko 45mm, 60mm Macro, 12-40mm and 75-300mm. Tripod, filters. Cable release, A Flash that is rarely usedFeedback
