Very Creative!Great job!

Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken at an interactive art show, "Wonderspaces" in San Diego, CA, USA.
Time
This photo was taken indoors, on an evening in June.
Lighting
The art exhibit set up the room with beautiful patterns and contrasted lighting. I used that to capture the silhouette of the spectator.
Equipment
Nikon D3400 with AF-S Nikkor 24-120 mm f/4G ED VR
Inspiration
While most people visiting this exhibit snapped selfies with their cell phones and stood around chatting, this woman quietly walked into the room without a phone or camera in her hands and sat on the bench too view the exhibit. I was enlightened by her actions. She embraced the moment and I found her to be a far more important subject than the mesmerizing art exhibit she was viewing.
Editing
The photo wasn't shot in black and white, but is appeared to be. I used a BW filter to sharpen the contrast.
In my camera bag
My go to equipment is my Nikon D750 with AF-S Nikkor 24-120 mm f/4G ED VR, back up batteries, spare SSDI cards. Depending on my photo goals, I may bring my ultra wide angle lens, tele zoom or macro lens.
Feedback
It's important to take a step back from the masses and try to see the big picture.
