This was my first time exploring Campbell Falls in Norfolk, CT and at first I found it difficult to create a balanced composition. The falls break half way down, changes direction, and flows out of the bottom left side of the frame. I decided to use a long lens to isolate the top section where light penetrating through the trees and mist added a soft glow to the scene. It’s definitely a location I’ll return to in the future, especially after a heavy rain like I had on this visit.
