Location
This photo is made in a village in the pre-Pyrenees of Huesca, Aragon. A day of clear and bright light this springTime
The time was in the afternoonLighting
The lighting, was almost overhead, as seen in the shade. The measurement was matrix, therefore the shadow comes out a little clear, but the balcony, properly exposed.Equipment
The camera is Sony rx 10 IVInspiration
The antiquity of that balcony, made of wood, which is very rare to see anymore. They keep it perfectly preserved, a wonder of antiquity, typical of the mountain villages, in the Pyrenees and PyreneesEditing
I do not process my photos, I do not like to modify the reality, that I capture in my photosIn my camera bag
I have 2 teams the Sony rx 10 IV of 24-600 mm, gives excellent flexibility and good image quality in all the focals. My other equipment is Sony alpha to 7RIII, with Sony 90 mm 2.8 macro, Sony 70- 200 mm f4, and Sony 16-35 f4.All these objectives give an image of excellent qualityFeedback
I wanted to create a flat image, as if it were painted in a painting, with hardly any volume or texture, highlighting the soft color of the wall and the wood. The usual thing is to highlight the volume and the texture. If we want to emphasize the texture and the volume, better a more lateral light, also in black and white is a very strong image, due to the subject itself. If we want to simply highlight the square and rectangles of the balcony as in this photo, or be an almost flat photo, because a light almost on top. I made the composition placing the balcony near the base of the photograph, to give more solidity, at the same time, leaving space on the balcony, to see the stones embedded in the wall, I wanted to get an image, which looked like a drawing..
