The Rock Garden was the first major project undertaken at Wisley Gardens near Woking in Surrey, being constructed between 1910 and 1912. Numerous small paths run down the hillside around rocky outcrops and pools connected by small streams and cascades, which end up in long ponds at the bottom (Description shamelessly adapted from part of Wisley's own on their www pages). Wisley is owned and run by the RHS.Taken during a visit on a rather dull and rainy day, May 24th 2018, which allowed me to get the shutter speed down to 1 second with the camera resting on my camera bag for the lack of a tripod.
