In the place worked from 1,919 to 1,931 a refrigerator. Later, a large barrack or sawmill of Stange and Walter Toelgen was installed, which operated for the export of wood, but also animals. Then it was leased by Ferrocarriles del Estado. The installation of the old refrigerator was demolished in the mid-50s, leaving the dock for the use of fishermen. Over time this pier suffered a worse deterioration, constituting today a structure of corroded pillars.
