The photo was taken on May 23, 2018 at 5:45 in the afternoon during sunset.Lighting
We were planning to shoot the sunset though we did not expect there were clouds covering the horizon but we’re lucky to witness the otherworldly look it gave us. The sun rays reflecting the water and there’s a shipping sailing so I did a long exposure shot for a more dramatic scene.Equipment
Fujifilm XT10, XF 18-55mm with 10 stops ND filter and a cheap tripod.Inspiration
I always love shooting the sunset. Especially those with unique structures. Notice the pillars in the water.Editing
Yes. I only used Photoshop and the photo is an raw file. I also used Nik Software plugin to achieve the dramatic look to it.In my camera bag
I only use a small bag since I’m using a mirrorless camera. The camera itself, one or two lenses and an ND filter.Feedback
Anyone who tries to tale similar shots like sunsets on the beach, enjoy it, every seconds until the sun disappears because those are what gives a shot some meaning at most. It’s in the eye of the beholder.
