Behind The Lens

Location

It was half-abandoned, half-destroyed jym, owned by the husband one of the models. None of this girls know how to fight :) But they look so rough and sexy in this gloves! Type of women that can do anything in life and beat any troubles on the way!

Time

We were shooting inside, and far away from window to catch any daylight

Lighting

I wanted more dramatic effect, so I use harsh flash light with reflectors to lighting that scene.

Equipment

I use one flash light in front of models and one as a backlight, one 24-70 lense and that was enough.

Inspiration

I really love to shoot women, especially tough, sexy ones. And i definitely will shoot this concept again some time soon :)

Editing

Of course, I do post-process my images (all of them), and this one not exception. I work in Photoshop: correct exposure in Camera RAW, then smooth skin and get rid of any unnecessary details, and then i do color

In my camera bag

I don't have may equip with me on shootings. Originally I came with only what i need for particular shooting. I do not bring flash always "just in case" -- I know exactly what i will shoot and how! And its also better for my healt, because im a small girl and don't want to carry weights :)

Feedback

One of my favourite advice is: Always start with pre-production! That meants -- be prepared for shooting. Do a researsh, make a moodboard, scout the location, tell importrant information to all your team and go early, so you won't be late. And then you won't be stressed on photosession. And it hights your chances to create something really stunning!
