Checking the weather, it looked like if I stuck to my plan to go to the Owens Valley I would be heading for nothing but blue skies for a few days. Ideal for sunbathing perhaps but not usually ideal for photography. Now where am I going to find clouds in California? According to the wonderful folks at weather.gov, Pt Reyes National Seashore and along the coast had them, so I head northwest instead of east.
Good decision! Lots of moody weather combined with a plethora of spring flowers made the place a treat for the eyes and especially the lens.
