I was practicing with a macro lens attachment on my camera so I brought a dandelion clock into my room from the garden as I found it almost impossible to focus with the mild breeze moving it when I was taking photos outside..Time
It was around 10am.Lighting
I set the seed head up against a south facing window and the sun was shining from above on a bright day.Equipment
I used a Nikon D5300 with a tripod, Tamron AF 70 - 300 lens and a Raynox DCR-250 Macro lens attached.Inspiration
I had finally saved enough to be able to buy a fairly good camera after years of only using various mobile phone cameras and was in the garden taking pictures of the dandelion flowers and clocks when I saw one where most of the seeds had blown away and wondered what it would look like really close and better than my eye could see so I decided to take it inside and experiment with macro for the first time.Editing
Nope, this is how it turned out and I loved it so left it alone :)In my camera bag
I normally just have a mobile phone.. but as I have recently got a decent camera I have a Nikon D5300, some different filtres, lens cleaner.. that's about it but when I get better and more confident I'll probably take a tripod and and maybe a wireless thing for taking pics remotely when I learn how to use it.Feedback
Set up somewhere bright and with no breeze and when you're in focus try and press the shutter as gently as possible or better yet, use a wireless shutter device.
