Working at sea can be very hard but also quite rewarding... As I am studying Marine Science, I sometimes get to go out on research vessels and of course I spend what free time I have on birdwatching and photography. This week, we went out to the Skagerak with perfect weather, velvet seas and many many northern fulmars (Fulmarus glacialis) surrounding the ship. A wonderful experience!
