Behind The Lens
Location
The photo was taken in the central park of the city of Khabarovsk (Russia), on the staircase of the architectural complex "Utes"Time
The time for the photo session was not chosen successfully. It was noon, the peak of the solstice, there were no clouds in the sky. I had to look for a good perspective, which you could not notice in good conditions (in a golden hour or on a cloudy day). This is a good experience. Therefore, do not look for excuses for yourself)) We must take a camera and shoot.Lighting
What can I tell about lighting here? This is not a studio, nature dictates the conditions. In such conditions it was necessary to search for a shadow from trees and buildings.Equipment
I photographed a Canon 60D camera and a Canon 50mm f / 1.4 lens.Inspiration
I hid with the girl in the shade from the sun to rest. It turned out to be a great place to postpone the rest and make a few more shots. And as it turned out later, they were the most successful. ))Editing
The subsequent processing was in Photoshop, a small retouch and used the plug-in Nik Collection Silver Efex Pro.In my camera bag
In my bag lies a camera and a pair of lenses. Now it canon 5D mark ll, tamron 24-70mm f / 2.8 G2, canon 50mm f / 1.4, helios 44-2, flash, ND filter. As portraits are photographed without assistants, I do not carry a lot of equipment with me. The maximum reflectors are 5-1 60?60. The tripod is in the car, I use it for landscapes and water shooting.Feedback
Do not look for ideal conditions, preferably always take a camera with you (although this is not always convenient). Always look around, look for interesting places, they are always there, around of us - just because of haste we do not notice them. If you are without a camera, remember the place, take a picture on the phone, go back when there is free time. Imagine which frame you want to output. When I have a creative crisis, I put aside the camera and rest. But this is my method))
