Behind The Lens

Location
This picture was taken in a small coast city called Enkhuizen in the Netherlands.
Time
It was taken during sunset.
Lighting
I was looking at the weather forecasts and hoped that the clouds would stay above the horizon in order for letting still the beautiful sunlight come through. Luckily I was happy that I decided to go there and photograph, it didn't let me down.
Equipment
I recently upgraded to the Canon 5D IV because I was looking for that extra bit MP detail needed for fine art printing. Always use my Vanguard tripod and ND Lee filter for an optimal long exposure effect.
Inspiration
This little town with the beautiful old historical buildings is its self inspiring.
Editing
I have just done some color adjustments and doge and burning in PS. My principle is to keep my pictures natural. By that way I can look back 10 years later and remember this wonderful moments when capturing that picture.
In my camera bag
My full frame Canon with the very sharp 16-35 f/4 lens. Some ND and graduated filters and lots of passion for this beautiful hobby.
Feedback
Become a weather man and look for that unique moment to capture what you have already created in your mind. Be passionate and keep it simple.
