This is Franz Josef Glacier, New Zealand viewed from the valley below. I joined a hiking group, an incredible experience of majestic scenery and great folk. Unfortunately this is an Iphone photo as I had decided to leave the Canon behind at the hotel due to horrid weather that morning. My glacial helicopter flight was cancelled and even as we boarded the bus to get to the starting point it was still raining. Within 5 minutes the clouds vanished and bright sun..hmmm! I guess we make some decisions in life to be regretted but at least I had my phone!
