One of my co-workers wanted some artistic black and white portraits of his family and his brother brought his daughter who is probably one of the cutest kids I've ever seen. She was very hot an cold with the idea of taking pictures. One moment she'd cry and not want to pose, and in the blink of an eye she was laughing and making faces completely unafraid. In the moment I caught this shot, she had stopped laughing and just stared right at me and not for very long. It looked as if she had some deep thought come into her mind. It fled her just as soon as it came while she turned to her father and started laughing again.
