Thank you kim, I have been so inspired and encouraged by all the feedback received regarding this shot. For aspiring photographers, viewing is the place to be!

Location
The photo was taken at the Dunham Massey Estate. Dunham Massey is a green oasis nestled between the urban sprawl of Manchester and rural tranquillity of Cheshire, and is one of my favourite places to unwind and explore photo opportunities.Time
The photo was taken around mid afternoon on a may spring bank holiday in the blue bell woods.Lighting
I just love the way light filters through the trees, almost spotlighting the flowers in the glades. I wanted to capture the delicate light highlighting those beautiful colours.Equipment
I used my Canon PowerShot SX60 HS Digital Camera.Inspiration
I love blue bells, there's nothing more beautiful than fields of blue bells in springtime, so I decided to make a visit to one of our favourite places this may spring bank holiday especially to capture some blue bells. This photo is now a dedication to my beautiful Nettie who also loved blue bells and was part inspiration for my trip, who sadly passed away this year! Now every spring the blue bells that bloom will be a beautiful reminder of her!Editing
Usually use minimal post-processing, but do like to punch up the colour and vibrancy of images using basic blue/yellow filter. In my camera bag
Usually just my trusty powershot, the powershot has a massive 65X optical zoom lens, gets me to amazing places, when I can not.Feedback
Seeing is the most important thing to me, look around you for the beauty that surrounds us, light colour, something that catches your eye, the camera does not spot a photographic opportunity, you do, the camera is merely a means to permanently capture it. Also look at things differently, a creative eye and a fully articulating 3" LCD can make the most mundane of things exceptional and beautiful.
