This is London Beal. I took this shot during a full day workshop with Mark Daughn. We rented the studio at www.atxphotostudio.com. London is wonderful to work with!Time
This was taken indoors at www.atxphotostudio.com at 12:26 pm, since it was indoors that doesn't matter very much.Lighting
Lighting by Mark Daughn. This guy knows his stuff and is great to work with.Equipment
Tripod: 3 Legged Thing - Winston https://www.3leggedthing.com/winston Camera: Nikon D850, this is the world's best DSLR! Lens: Nikkor 105mm macro Lighting by Mark Daughn, studio lights, no flash.Inspiration
I'm still learning and practicing. This day was one of those days where I got to practice what I have learned. London is marvelous and knows what she is doing!Editing
I used an X-rite Colorchecker passport to ensure that the colors would come out correctly. Adobe Lightroom can use the picture of the Colorchecker passport to set white balance, etc. with a single click; I also added my signature when I exported the NEF file from Lightroom. In my camera bag

Learn from your professional models and shooters that have been in the pro business a long time. Don't assume that models are just pretty faces. Let them use their voices, often you will learn that they have GREAT ideas! Don't just learn from one teacher, make sure you get to know dozens of teachers and learn from all of them! They all have their own styles, don't copy them, create your own style! This work was a collaboration, and I thank everyone that was a part of this artistic effort! https://www.facebook.com/pg/stephenjungphotography/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1751943438185982
