I took this picture when we drove alongside the coast of Vancouver, Canada. We spotted some harbour seals, but the big oil-tanker in the fading daylight was incredibly impressive to watch. The framing and cropping of the image are intended to help the viewer focus on the tanker and its seemingly endless way home. Even next to a metropolis you are alone.

What I like most about this picture are the faint silhouettes of the mountains in the background.
